Best Price Match Policy:
We do not "Up Charge" our shoes. All of our shoes are priced as low as we are allowed to go by our vendors.
We will match the product prices of key online and local competitors (Authorized Retailers) for the exact same shoe.
Do I need to make an appointment?
No appointment is needed to shop in our shoe store. If your feet are generally healthy you will be assisted by one of our sales associates. Our Sales Associates can measure your feet, if needed, and assist you in trying shoes and over the counter arch supports.
It’s recommended you make an appointment with our specialist for the following:
We do not accept any insurance, because insurance does not cover the services we provide or most of the items we carry. The shoes and Footcare items we carry are considered “Over the Counter (OTC)”, and a doctor’s RX will save you the tax.
Sometimes custom orthotics are covered, however, each Health Insurance plan is different. We found that while your insurance may tell you they are covered many times custom orthotics are not covered at all. In the instances there is coverage, you may first have to meet a deductible, and then once that deductible has been met your insurance may only cover a portion of the remaining cost.
You may call your insurer and ask. Below is a list of questions to help you in obtaining correct information from your plan. Since we do not accept any insurance our store would be “out of network”, and you would need to pay out of pocket and ask for reimbursement.
1. Is my prescribed item covered? I am/am not Diabetic_____________________________________
2. The facility I am visiting is OUT OF NETWORK with my insurance.
3. Do I have a deductible to meet before the item is covered? _______________________
4. Is there a co-pay or co-insurance? _______________________________________
5. Are there any other amounts I may owe? _________________________________
6. How do I file the claim on my own? (ask to have forms sent to you)
Do I need to bring my shoes with me?
It is a good idea to bring your top two pair of shoes, especially if you are seeing our Pedorthist.
Runners and athletes should bring their shoes, as well.
How soon can I expect my feet to feel better?
You can't get a six-pack from one personal training session. In other words, healing takes time and compliance. Many companies will promise the moon, and many have customer testimonials that will make you believe some miracle product exists that will magically fix your feet. The reality is there are many reasons why feet hurt, including your weight, lifestyle, shoe fit, injuries, muscle imbalances, and overuse to name a few. Most often it is a combination of those reasons. A doctor's diagnosis is important. Physical Therapy can be very helpful. We are a part of your "team" that includes us, you, and your doctor all working together to get your feet feeling better.
