Why are our CUSTOM ORTHOTICS so effective and so different from everyone else's? It starts with a thorough evaluation by our board-certified Pedorthist, who evaluates your ankle and foot type, shape, gait, stance, and specific issues. Our Pedorthist will record your gait, and gather information about your height, weight, activity level, type of preferred shoes, and medical conditions that may affect your feet. He then positions your feet in a specific manner to capture a digital scan. This evaluation and foot scan will be used to create an orthotic specifically for your feet, and no one else's! Then the real magic happens:
He will decide (based on over 15 years of specialized experience) how to create your custom orthotics choosing from
*11 different models (sport, diabetic, etc)
*35 various densities of material (combining up to three in the orthotic)
*12 assorted intarsias (in-lays and offloads specific to your condition)
*15 distinct design options as necessary, for example, deep heel cup, metatarsal pad or hammertoe crest.
*12 types of cushion
*12 different top covers
Once he determines all of these combinations, this information is then sent to our lab in Germany, where only those specializing in pedorthics use a Ped-cad system to make your specific and unique orthotics!
Your orthotics are then sent back to us where our Pedorthist will add the finishing touches and ensure it fits in your shoes.
